Dome Mountain Study

As of 2007 November 01, Cordillera Resources, Inc. has collected more than 8000 attitudes in the Dome Mountain study area ( Eureka and White Pine Counties, NV ).

This sizable number of attitudes provides very tight structural constraints for any geological analysis for this study area.

Dr. Alan Chamberlain considers Dome Mountain to be the key to understanding the structural geology of northeastern Nevada.

Dome Mountain lies within a rare east-west swath of continuously exposed Paleozoic rocks between the southern Diamond Range and Mahogany Hills.

Cordillera Resources will compare structural cross sections based on random disperse mapping published by Tom Nolan ( former director of the USGS ) with new proprietary cross sections constrained by serial transect mapping.

Prices and details of the Dome Mountain study will be added to this website soon.
